Interactive Office Floor with Google Maps

   Currently is common to find buildings, addresses or houses at Google Maps, but if we go further and use this resource to know where a person is in a building?

   That already is possible with the Interactive Office Floor Plan Mapping Mashup. Click here to know more.

   Application test:
      1. Click in the field “Select an employee to find”;
      2. Choose a person (name);
      3. Click in “Find”;
      4. The person will be located on the map;
      5. Click in the icon indicating the selected person;
      6. Information’s about the person will be shown.

   This application already exists but is updated manually. And if again we go further and start thinking in use RFID tags to automatically update the information’s of the application and increase the office interactivity?

   Applications like that already are real like product/pallet tracking and trace in supply chain, maintenance and moving control of IT assets and item level tracking to avoid piracy.
